Editor's Notebook: Historic comic section runs Saturday

In Saturday's Register-Mail will be a 16-page full color section showing the history of cartoons in newspapers. The content is provided by King Features, a syndicate celebrating 100 years in the comic business. Readers will see the earliest comics, such as Yellow Kid, by Richard Outcault, which began publishing in William Randolph Hearst's New York Journal in 1896.
